Absolutely crazy Reddit thread. A few observations:

Lloyd has very little support there. Only a handful of supportive comments and most of these were downvoted and in the negative.

People are still VERY angry at him, and this newbie telling their story of being conned by him to donate absolutely triggered more than a few people.

Sashee’s Mom did herself and Lloyd no favours there and seemed to illustrate how Lloyd triggers his followers into insane cultists.

Now even his followers on Reddit have to preface any supportive comments with statements of disgust for his behaviour and a few actually called him a narcissist. He’ll never shake this label.

Twitter and now Reddit are largely no-go areas for Lloyd and his followers. This is a problem that is not going away as the new donors find new outlets and social networks. He used to absolutely rule both of those and they largely served as his playground. He doesn’t go to Reddit as any comment there would cause a stir. His tweets are largely ignored and his likes and quality of followers have taken a huge hit.

In his book he actually encourages people to seek out that subReddit for support. He’ll be sure to edit that part out when/if he gets a second edition out. If he is to succeed he is going to have to mostly isolate his followers from social media and it’s going to be a daily battle for him.

I can find about the same number of false statements in his livestream and hundreds more in his public statements since. He is a complete fraud and has copied the business model of his former masters.

You can throw a stick into a penitentiary and it stands a good chance of hitting someone better than Lloyd Evans.

There is a reason I call him Jabba the Hutt and the weight is only a part of it. He’s a greedy, filthy, disgusting slob of a human being who deserves the same fate as Jabba.

That girl on the pic with him should be able to take him back to her village in chains for public humiliation.

The video you are referring to is on the homepage of the LE YT channel. It doesn’t have anywhere near that many views, technically speaking. The reason is has so many is because every time someone goes to his channel, that video plays and it is counted as a view.

Kit Kat / Sashee’s Mom is back on Reddit and is trying to preach Lloyd’s gospel to a PIMO who is in desperate need to of assistance and advice. She’s suggesting that donations be made to Lloyd in lieu of advice.

There is a reason he stated that he was going to delete all comments he deemed as negative on his begging video. He doesn’t want any inkling of what he really went to Thailand for getting out. He even drops any notion he went there for sex as he admitted to last year. He finally understands there is no valid defence for it. This is preying on the ignorant. He knows as well as we do that the info contained in the letters to his wife indicate that’s exactly what he went to Thailand for. There were lot of comments like these left on various channels from his new subs.

He can't trust his wife or even Tibor, IMO.

This is one of the reasons why the emails were leaked. He’ll think twice about sending emails like that to her ever again for fear of them getting out. And it probably factored into her thinking as to why she passed that email on to outside parties.

The big difference is that people know a lot more about him now, because he let his guard down. Perhaps he felt it was safe to do so, perhaps he was distracted and foundering

He felt he was untouchable and that his cult of personality was powerful enough to shout down any possible dissenters and leakers. He had made a huge miscalculation with the way he tried to woo his lost patrons back. And they were the ones most attached to him. As KitKat 90 mentioned in the comment above, she was a new supporter but had no idea who he really was and dropped as soon as she found out. It’s not going to take much to get a newbie to drop him as they have only been watching him for a relatively short period of time. Most don’t like the drama and you can count on him to always be full of it, especially as he finds that people still won’t work with him and that the BBC or whoever he wants to go live with is going to get a tonne of complaints, this time with verifiable evidence based on his own statements.

I believe he will take the money and run eventually

He envisions himself playing an “activist emeritus” role in semi retirement, but coming back for appearances with whoever he appoints as his successor. He’ll keep the business running while the other person does the work, and paying them a salary from what he gets. It’ll never work, but it is how he thinks.

How do you actually know he dislikes making videos?

He has dropped several hints. He’s constantly speaking about moving on from exJW content and into other areas of interest. He’s also eager to retire and live off the grift. And he’s absolutely incensed at exJWs and that most dropped their support, once bizarrely remarking that he finds it hard to make videos that could possibly benefit those who critique him. He envisioned himself well on the way to this goal by now but now he has to fight to keep his channel going.

Begging was the only way forward, but it trapped him in exJW content.

I’m afraid Jabba the Hutt is not that patient. He’s going for the quick grift then out. He’d have double the support he has now had nothing been said about his Thai adventure and he knows he has lost a significant segment of the community for good. What he has now is sufficient to live on semi-comfortably but it comes nowhere close to his ultimate dream which is retirement and full pension on the exJW dime.
